FROZEN RAIN was formed by Belgian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kurt Verik, and they released their debut album, "Frozen Rain," in 2008. This album, featuring key figures in the melodic hard rock scene such as Tommy Denander, Steve Newman, and Daniel Flores, is a masterpiece offering superb melodic hard rock and has received a huge response from fans worldwide, including acclaim in Japan. In 2012, they released their 2nd album, "Ahead Of Time" (currently available from Rubicon Music with 6 bonus tracks), featuring an even more internationally diverse lineup. With the powerful vocals of Carsten Schultz, also the singer of German metal band DOMAIN, the sound shifted somewhat harder, further expanding their support among metal fans. Eleven years later... Kurt Cobain has finally revived Frozen Rain and completed their third album, "One Mile From Heartsville." In addition to Kurt and returning members J?rgen (Key) and Hans Felike (Dr), the album features the smooth and emotionally superb vocals of new singer Lars. Furthermore, the presence of new member Jens (G), who is heavily involved in songwriting alongside Kurt, cannot be overlooked. The album is a parade of undeniably great songs that leave a strong impression from the first listen!
