Luke Morley, guitarist and main composer of THUNDER, releases his first solo album in 22 years, now also taking on vocal duties! THUNDER, the British hard rock band that has enjoyed immense popularity since their 1990 debut album "Backstreet Symphony," is back with a second solo album from Luke Morley, the central figure who leads the band alongside vocalist Danny Bowes. This album, his first solo release in 22 years since his debut in 2001, was initially produced in Luke's home studio, and further recording sessions were held at Rockfield Studio, a favorite of famous British musicians such as Queen and Ozzy Osbourne, before its completion. Luke handles vocals, guitar, bass, and keyboards, while Dave Krasky plays drums. Backing vocals are provided by his close friend Danny Bowes and Ricky Warwick of Black Star Riders. Luke wrote all the songs on the album, and the content is different from THUNDER, strongly reflecting Luke's personal musical background, with a strong roots rock feel, folk rock, 70s West Coast rock, and a touch of British blues rock?a truly fulfilling work that is unmistakably "Luke Morley!" The lyrics are also interesting, incorporating Luke's sensibilities; for example, the second track, "Killed By Cobain," which was released as a single, coolly reflects on the grunge boom that occurred in the early 90s, just before THUNDER achieved success in America.
