Commemorating their visit to Japan! The legendary American hard rock band ANGEL, who made a spectacular comeback with "Risen" in 2019, releases a passionate new album into which they have poured all their energy! Angel, who, along with KISS and Aerosmith, were one of the "Big Three" of hard rock in the 70s and thrilled Japanese music fans, was formed by keyboardist Greg Zifria, who was influenced by Keith Emerson and Ken Hensley. Discovered by Gene Simmons of KISS, and dressed in white costumes in stark contrast to the black devils of KISS, they debuted in 1975 with "Angel" on KISS's Casablanca Records as an American rival to the British band QUEEN. After releasing five studio albums and a live album, they disbanded. As you may know, Greg formed Zifria, and after working with House of Lords and other bands, retired and is now a successful businessman. Punky Meadows, the other pillar of the band's support, had completely disappeared from the scene, but finally descended from heaven in 2016 with his solo album Fallen Angel. In 2019, he reunited with vocalist Frank DiMino, who was the only one remaining in the scene and continuing to perform live, and it was four years ago that they officially released "Reason" as Angel. During that time, a Japan tour was also scheduled, but it has been postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, raising concerns that it might be another tragic repeat. However, they have delivered a fantastic album! From the dramatic opening track reminiscent of the famous song Tower, the intense Angel sound explodes.
