Product Description
Former Kansas vocalist John Elefante returns to the scene with his fifth solo album, his first in nine years! John Elefante joined Kansas in 1981 as the new singer/keyboardist, succeeding Steve Walsh, and participated in two albums, 'Vinyl Confessions' (1982) and 'Drastic Neasures' (1983), pushing the band back into the mainstream. After leaving the band in 1984, he became a Christian artist, participating in numerous works as a songwriter and producer, providing songs for many famous artists, composing film scores (including 'St. Elmo's Fire' and many others), and winning a Grammy Award. At the same time, since 1987, he has formed MASTEDON with his brother Dino Elefante, showcasing top-notch melodic hard rock reminiscent of his Kansas days, and has released three albums to date. John Elefante's signature melodic and AOR-infused solo career began with the classic 1995 album *Wings of Heaven*, and continued with four albums up to 2013's *On My Way to the Sun*, featuring Rich Williams and David Ragsdale of Kansas. Now, having signed with Escape Music, he releases his long-awaited first album in nine years, *The Amazing Grace*. This album fully embraces the Kansas-esque flavor while maintaining his melodic and romantic style, resulting in a masterpiece that showcases his unique sound to the fullest, with songs adorned with sublime melodies. A must-listen for all melodic rock fans! Includes bonus tracks on the Japanese edition! Liner notes/lyrics with translations included. Features a brand new interview with John Elefante! Tracklist 1.
