About the Artist: Mari Pokinen is a female singer-songwriter born in 1988 in Tartu, Estonia, a small country on the Baltic Sea. She has been singing and making music since she was a child, and also studied violin and participated in a choir. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in the Virjandi Institute of Culture and Science in Estonia, where she began studying drama. Since 2011, she has been working as an actress in a theater in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. In 2010, at the age of 22, her first album, "22," was released, later becoming a domestic release by Nature Bliss and gaining popularity in Japan. In 2013, she released her second album, "Maa saab taevani," and some of its songs were used in the film "Kertu." Later, in 2016, she changed her name after getting married and released the album "27" as Mari J?rjens. She continues to perform live, mainly in Estonia.
