About the Artist: Formed in Osaka in June 2008. In November 2009, Aldious independently released their first solo recording, a 4-track EP titled "Dear Slave," which sold out. In 2010, they launched the girls' metal label "Bright Star Records" and signed with the international music label "Spinning" as the first Japanese artist. Gaining attention mainly online, their single "Defended Desire" sold out 7,000 copies in July. Then, in October, they released their long-awaited full album "Deep Exceed," which reached number 1 on the Oricon Indies Weekly Album Ranking, as well as number 15 on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and number 7 on the Daily Ranking. In November, they held their first solo live performance at Club Quattro in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, which was a sold-out success. In January 2011, they appeared on Nippon Television's "Sukkiri!!" and Fuji Television's "Meza-nyu~". As they continued to expand their fanbase, they released their 2nd single "Mermaide" in April (Oricon Daily #16, Weekly #20, Indie Weekly #1). At the same time, they held their first solo tour at Club Quattro in Shibuya, Shinsaibashi, and Nagoya, with all shows being sold out. After Rami left the band in June, the band continued to create music while searching for a new vocalist, and in August, Re:NO joined as the new vocalist. In mid-November, they appeared as guests on The Agonist's Japan tour, performing at all shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. At the end of the year, they appeared again on Nippon Television's "Happy Music." Then, in May 2013, they released their 3rd album, "District Zero." This album achieved a historic first for an independent girl band, reaching 4th on the Oricon Daily Chart and 7th on the Weekly Chart (2nd on the Indie Weekly Chart).
