Released on December 25, 1977, by Nippon Columbia, "Symphonic Suite Space Battleship Yamato" is an album in which Hiroshi Miyagawa, who was in charge of the background music, rearranged and re-edited the BGM and re-recorded it with a full orchestra. It is a huge hit album that has become a landmark in anime soundtracks. This new release commemorates the 50th anniversary and features remixed audio source newly tracked from the original multi-track tapes, and will be released in two formats: analog record and CD. (This cart is for the CD) The mixer is Toshiyasu Shiozawa, who has won numerous Japan Professional Music Awards, the LP cutting engineer is Shigeru Takezawa, and the CD mastering is by Yumiko Yamashita, who has served as the mastering engineer for the "YAMATO SOUND ALMANAC" series and "Space Battleship Yamato 2202" music products. Additionally, an analog record of "Symphonic Suite Space Battleship Yamato 2202" by Akira Miyagawa, with LP cutting handled by Shigeru Takezawa, will be released simultaneously by Bandai Namco Music Live. It will be released on December 25th, the same day as the original "Symphonic Suite Space Battleship Yamato" was released, and will be unveiled on October 6th, the same day as the first episode of the TV anime aired.
