Kasabian, the undisputed kings of modern UK rock, who have achieved seven consecutive UK number one albums since their second album and released the dancefloor anthem "Release The Pressure" in collaboration with Calvin Harris at the start of 2026, will release their ninth studio album, "Act III," on July 17th. Following the first single, "Hippie Sunshine," the second single released, "Great Pretender," was written and composed by Serge Pizzorno, produced by Serge and Mick Ralph, and is a summery, addictive, and uplifting anthem created for festival stages. The album consists of 10 pop numbers and 3 instrumental interludes, with Serge's instantly recognizable hazy vocals enveloping the entire album and interwoven with psychedelic elements featuring prominent guitar work. This summer, on July 4th, they will hold a massive headline concert at Finsbury Park, their largest London performance to date, and will also be appearing at numerous festivals throughout the UK and Europe, as well as Japan's Summer Sonic 2026.
