Tame Impala, the pinnacle of modern psychedelic rock, led by Kevin Parker from Australia, releases their new album "Deadbeat," their first release since moving to Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music. This album, their fifth overall and their first in five years since "The Slow Rush," was created while Barker traveled back and forth between Fremantle, Western Australia, his hometown, and Wave House Studios in Indjedup, which he owns. The sound is strongly inspired by the Western Australian rave scene and the Australian-born outdoor dance party called "Bush Doof," which takes place in remote natural settings. While retaining their traditional psychedelic rock sound, this is an ambitious album influenced by dance music such as EDM, techno, and psychedelic trance!
