"Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru" is based on a manga by Yuzuki Chihiro, serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Manga Mee". The story follows Asagiri Mari, a high school girl living in a town where beastmen and humans coexist. One day, Hidaka Tsunagu, a beastman, arrives in Mari's class as a special student. Mari is initially bewildered by her first encounter with a beastman, but as she spends time with him as a classmate, she begins to notice the charm of Tsunagu's kind and pure nature. A sweet and poignant coming-of-age love story about a high school girl and a beastman who are drawn to each other despite their different species. "Kimi ni Naretara" is a song written, composed, and arranged by Y? Kamiyama specifically for this project, featuring a nostalgic band sound.
