Larkin Po, the new generation roots rock duo, releases their latest album in two years. The Ravel sisters, born in Tennessee and raised in Georgia, are known as "the Allman Brothers' little sisters." Their previous album, "Blood Harmony" (2022), which focused on family bonds, won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album (2024). The sisters said they liked the vintage-style album cover and the band's logo, which they described as "Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin-esque." In their new album, the Southern harmonies woven by older sister Megan's lap steel guitar and younger sister Rebecca's powerful vocals and guitar riffs have evolved even further. They said they put more effort into songwriting, resulting in a work where each song unfolds like a chapter in itself. In September 2024, they won the Americana Honors & Awards for Best Duo/Group of the Year, a prestigious award in the US music industry. The Japanese edition includes a bonus track from their EP, which was digitally released in October 2023, and this marks its first appearance on CD.
