GoGo Penguin, the "acoustic electronica trio" from Manchester, England, releases their first full-length album since switching labels. The label is Berlin-based XXIM Records. Recording took place in July 2022 at the famous Real World Studios. The band consists of Chris Eillingworth (piano), Nick Blacka (bass), and newly joined drummer John Scott (drums). The pandemic presented the band with various challenges and gave them an opportunity to re-evaluate what is important to them as a group. The three have also deepened their bond as friends, and have started on a new path as a more powerful trio than before. This album captures that special moment as the band restarts after several years that have been accompanied by unexpected events and trials. Released in Japan ahead of the rest of the world!
