At the time, they were touring North America with Iron Maiden, and this was their momentous first performance at a venue considered a sacred ground for rock, a place they had long dreamed of. Moreover, it was a live performance with Iron Maiden, so it was a powerful 50 minutes of heavy tunes that they powered through with all their might. For Mike Portnoy (Dr), who would announce his shocking departure from the band two months after this performance, this was the last local performance with Dream Theater and a record of a special night in which his dream came true.
