[Japan Tour Commemorative Edition] Celebrating their 45th anniversary! To coincide with their first Japan tour in four years, scheduled for November, the live recording from 45 years ago, released only on analog and digital formats and instantly sold out at RSD, will be released on CD for the first time in the world, with bonus tracks added exclusively for Japan. It includes 22 tracks from their live performances at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in LA on June 3rd and 4th, 1977. In addition, 6 bonus tracks from a live performance at the same venue around the same time have been added. Capture the young Cheap Trick in their prime, just before their big break with "at Budokan," and relive their high-energy, high-tension, and superb live performance in the highest quality, with a powerful and immersive sound! Remastered by Guy Massey (engineer and mixer for Beatles reissues, Oasis, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, and others) from the 16-channel 1/2-inch original master tapes discovered in Sony Music's master tape warehouse. At this point, songs that would later be included on their unreleased 2nd album "Pale Highway" and 3rd album "Heaven's Trap" are performed with different lyrics and arrangements than the album versions, and some of the songs that would later become live staples are also performed with different arrangements, which is one of the highlights. This precious live performance, with impeccable performance and sound, revived after 45 years, is being released on CD exclusively in Japan. Media reviews and more: 45th anniversary of their debut! To coincide with their first Japan tour in four years, scheduled for November, this live performance from 45 years ago, which was previously only available on analog and digital and sold out instantly at RSD, is being released on CD for the first time in the world, with bonus tracks added exclusively in Japan.
