The series is supervised by Toshikazu Kanazawa, known for his Light Mellow series. Hiroshi Nagai, the master illustrator known for Eiichi Ohtaki's "A LONG VACATION," provides the common artwork for this series. Born in Chicago in 1933 (died in 2006). It's a well-known fact that he sang in church from a young age and was classmates with Sam Cooke in high school. Later, he participated in recordings, providing wonderful interplay. He debuted in 1962, and with his velvety smooth voice and style that mixed jazz and soul elements, he produced many hits, including "I Don't Want to Leave You" (US #2). This album is an unusual work, with AOR songs on side A and jazz standards on side B. Produced by Jay Graydon, the album features contributions from David Foster, the two members of Pages (Mr. Mister), the two members of Keane, Robbie Neville, and others.
