Hiroshi Nagai, the master illustrator known for Eiichi Ohtaki's "A LONG VACATION," provides the common artwork for this series. Born in 1952, he is an Italian-Canadian singer-songwriter. After majoring in music at university, he moved his base of operations to Los Angeles and debuted with A&M Records in 1973. In 1978, "I Just Wanna Stop" became a hit, reaching number 4 on the US charts. From this album, his first release after moving to Arista, the emotionally rich ballad "Living Inside Myself" rose to number 6 on the US charts. Supported by the powerful rhythm section of highly skilled musicians Vinnie Colaiuta (drums) and Neil Stubenhaus (bass), the excellent arrangements, reminiscent of progressive rock, dramatically enhance Vanali's vocals.
