His stereo recordings, in particular, were recorded using the "360 sound," a combination of arrows and the number 360, characterized by a wide left-right soundstage. This clear reproduction further enhanced the unique charm of Gould's performances. To reproduce Gould's most popular masterpieces with the ultimate sound, the "Glenn Gould Original Sound SA-CD Hybrid Series" features remixes from the original analog multi-track masters and DSD mastering, released as SA-CD hybrids, the highest specification currently available.
