She is joined by musicians with ties to Poland, Chopin's homeland. The conductor is Jacek Kaspszyk, a Polish-born and accomplished conductor who has also won prizes at the Karajan Competition. The orchestra is the Sinfonia Varsovia, founded in Poland by the great violinist Yehudi Menuhin.
