There he met guitarist Ron Strycart, and in 1978 they formed Men at Work. They made their single debut in 1979 and released their album "Business as Usual" in 1981. He achieved massive success in the US and around the world, with two songs, "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under," reaching number one in the US, and winning a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. After releasing two more albums, he disbanded in 1985. He began a solo career in LA, consistently releasing more than 10 albums since "Looking for Jack" in 1987. In 1996, he reformed Men at Work, and they performed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. His songs have been featured in numerous American films and TV dramas, and he remains very popular. In recent years, he has released "Fears Mercy" in 2017, the cover album "I Just Don't Know..." in 2021, and "Now and the Evermore" in 2022.
