Never To Be Forgotten Marshall Crenshaw is a singer-songwriter born in Detroit in 1953. He gained widespread attention in 1978 for his portrayal of John Lennon in the musical "Beatlemania". In 1981, he recorded the single "Something's Gonna Happen" with a band he formed with his brother Robert and others. After signing with Warner Bros., his debut album "Marshall Crenshaw," released in 1982, charted and the single "Someday, Someway" became a hit, receiving high praise from the media. He continued to release albums at his own pace, including "Good Evening" (1989), "Miracle of Science" (1996), "What's in the Bag?" (2003), and "Jaggedland" (2009). Since 2012, he has released six limited-edition EPs. In the 80s and 90s, he contributed music to popular films such as "Peggy Sue Got Married," "La Bamba," and "Empire Records." He has also collaborated with artists such as Gin Blossoms and Smithereens, and many artists, including Ronnie Spector and Bette Midler, have covered his songs.
