While attending Virginia Commonwealth University, she released her debut album, "Who Taught You to Hate Yourself?", in 2016, and her second album, "The Importance of Self Belief," in 2018. After graduating, she released her third studio album, "For My Mama and Anyone Who Look Like Her," in 2021. The album was widely praised by the media as a sophisticated work of art by a Black artist, blending rap, jazz, and spoken word. In 2022, she made a guest appearance on Soul Gro's album "Diaspora Problems." In 2023, she released her fourth album, "Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?", on City Slang, and released the single "Run, Run, Run." This literary work, inspired by the works of Toni Morrison, a leading novelist of Black literature, once again received high praise from the media.
