That's The Joint The Eleventh House was a fusion band formed in 1973, centered around guitarist Larry Coryell. The original members were Randy Brecker (trumpet), Alphonse Muzon (drums), Danny Triffan (bass), and Mike Mandel (keyboards). In 1974, they released "Introducing Eleventh House" on Vanguard. The album was highly acclaimed, placing them alongside other prominent bands of the 1970s such as the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Weather Report. After several member changes, they released "Level One" in 1975 and "Aspects" in 1976 on Arista. For a time, Terumasa Hino was also a member on trumpet. Unfortunately, the band disbanded, but the members continued to stay in touch, and in 1984, Coryell and Muzon released "The 11th House." In 1998, they reformed and toured as The Eleventh House Reunion. They reformed again in 2015 and released the album "Seven Secrets," but disbanded again in 2017 after Coryell's death.
