She is the older sister of the now incredibly popular blues guitarist Samantha Fish, and is a multi-instrumentalist, playing bass and guitar in addition to singing. One year after Samantha's debut in 2011, Amanda Fish began her music career in earnest in 2012. After two years as a solo artist, she formed the Amanda Fish Band in 2014. Her powerful and soulful vocals quickly became a hot topic, and in 2015 she released her debut album, "Down In The Dirt," through Vizz Tone, a major blues music distributor. The following year, in 2016, she won the Sean Costello Rising Star award at the Blues Music Awards. She also advanced to the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in 2017. In 2018, she released "Free," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Blues chart, and in 2019 she won the Best New Artist award at the Blues Music Awards.
