This is a collection of studio live recordings by Memphis Slim, one of the greatest blues pianists of all time, recorded in London and Paris between 1960 and 1961. Disc 1 features 18 tracks recorded in July 1960 at the City of London Recording Studios with guitarist Alexis Korner and drummer Stan Craig as his backing band, while Disc 2 features 14 tracks from a Paris studio in July 1961, mostly solo piano sessions. This two-disc set allows you to enjoy Slim's powerful and brilliant vocals and piano playing, as he chose to live permanently in Paris from this point onward. DISC 1: In London 1.
