This retro-neo-soul group was assembled by Louis York, a production and songwriting duo consisting of Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly, who have worked with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Bruno Mars, and Rihanna. The members are three talented singers who have each had successful solo careers: Kashi Jones, who has been active in jazz and musicals (and has lived in Tokyo); Stacey Johnson, who is influenced by reggae; and Tamara Chauneese, who is influenced by gospel. They debuted in June 2018 with the single "Reconsider," and released three consecutive singles, including "Ain't That The Truth," every two months. In 2019, they released the EP "Genesis," which compiled these singles. They have continued to release music consistently since then, and in 2021 they released their first album, "Hits That Stick Like Grits." In 2021, they also appeared at the CMT Awards and Black Music Honors, and have been making headlines with their dazzling costumes and retro music videos.
