Killycrum Graine Duffy was born in 1986 in Castle Blaney, County Monaghan, Ireland. From a young age, influenced by her mother, she grew up listening to Aretha Franklin, The Pretenders, The Rolling Stones, and others, and in high school, she sang in a choir and started playing in bands. After attending music school, she began her professional career in earnest after graduation. Her debut album, "Out Of The Dark," in 2007 quickly garnered attention, leading to an appearance at the 2008 Granstbury Festival. She has also performed live as a support musician for artists such as Robben Ford and The Yardbirds, and has appeared on television and other media. Her second album, "Test of Time," released in 2011, also received critical acclaim, and she was invited to perform at numerous festivals throughout Europe, solidifying her popularity. Since then, she has consistently released albums such as "Grainne Duffy: Live" (2015), "Where I Belong" (2017), and "Voodoo Blues" (2020), winning many music awards. She is now a leading blues guitar woman not only in Ireland but also throughout Europe.
