Media Reviews and More: This two-disc set compiles the greatest studio best of Sam & Dave, the greatest soul duo of all time, primarily recordings made in Nashville from 1977 to 1981 (released as the two-disc set "Soul Study Volume 1 & 2" in 1982) just before their breakup. It includes re-recordings of their classic hits and covers of Southern soul classics, as well as an unreleased live recording from 1979 (recorded on September 21st at the Palladium in New York). Many of the tracks are hard to find and have never been released on CD!
