About the Artist: Lucy Foster is a blues singer born in Texas in 1964. After graduating from college, she joined the Navy and sang in the military band. After her discharge, she moved to New York and began working as a professional musician. In 1993, she returned to Texas due to her mother's illness and worked at a television station while caring for her mother, but her mother passed away in 1996. This prompted her to return to the world of music, and she released her first independent album, "Full Circle," in 1997, followed by "Crossover" in 1999. After that, he signed with Blue Corn Records in Texas and consistently released studio and live albums, including "Runaway Soul" (2002), "The Phenomenal" (2006), "Let It Burn" (2011), and "Promise of a Brand New Day" (2014). Since 2008, he has been nominated for and won Grammy Awards and Blues Music Awards almost every year, and has collaborated with many big names such as Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, and the Allman Brothers. His latest work is "Joy Comes Back," a blues, soul, and folk cover album released in 2017.
