About the Artist: Pianist Johnny Iguana, whose real name is Brian Berkowitz, moved to Chicago in 1994 and has worked as a backing musician for Junior Wells, Otis Rush, and Carey Bell. He participated in notable albums such as Junior Wells' 1997 Grammy-nominated album "Live at Buddy Guys Legend," as well as "Chicago Blues: Living History" (2009) and "Chicago Plays the Stones" (2017). In parallel, in 2010, he formed The Claudettes with drummer Michael Cassky, and released their first album "Infernal Piano Plot...Hatched!" in 2013. In 2015, female vocalist YANA joined the band, and they released their second album "No Hotel." Afterwards, the drummer and vocalist left the band, and they resumed activities as a four-piece, adding Berit Urses (vocals), guitar, and drums. In 2017 they released the live album "Pull Closer To Me," and in 2018 their third album "Dance Scnadal At The Gymnasium!". Their unique musical style has received high praise, and they have performed at many festivals across the United States.
