About the Artist: Brian Auger is a keyboardist born in England in 1939. He began his professional career in 1963, forming The Trinity. In 1965, he also worked as a session musician, contributing to tracks such as The Yardbirds' "For Your Love." He later formed Steam Packet with Long John Baldley and Rod Stewart. After the band's breakup, he reunited with Trinity, featuring Julie Driscoll, and released several albums, including "Open" in 1967 and "Definitely What!" in 1968. He also received high praise for his crossover sound at festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival. In the 1970s, he formed a new jazz-rock band, Oblivion Express, consistently releasing albums such as "A Better Land" in 1971 and "Second Wind" in 1972. Since then, he has participated in countless projects with rock, jazz, and blues artists including Kim Simmons (Savoy Brown), Eric Burdon (The Animals), Tony Williams, and Billy Cobham, and has also released numerous solo albums, establishing himself as a legend.
