About the Artist: Little Richard was born in Georgia in 1932. Along with Chuck Berry and others, he is one of the founders of rock and roll. His powerful vocals influenced artists across genres, including The Beatles, Otis Redding, and Prince. After making his debut with Specialty in 1955, he quickly produced numerous hit songs such as "Tutti Frutti," "Long Tall Sally," and "Lucille." He continued to release music on various labels, and in 1967, he released two albums on OKE, a subsidiary of Epic: the studio album "The Explosive Little Richard" and the live album "Little Richard's Greatest Hits Recorded Live." However, Richard himself was not fond of the R&B content of these albums and was dissatisfied with OKE's promotion, and as a result, they did not become major hits. However, the compilation album of these two albums, "Cast A Long Shadow (1971)," received high praise from the media and fans. In his later years, he participated in the works of many artists, but he passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 87 from cancer.
