About the Artist: The Altered Five Blues Band was formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2002, centered around lead vocalist Jeff Taylor and guitarist Jeff Schroedel. After steadily performing live, they caught the eye of local Milwaukee blues label Corrid Wind in 2008 and signed a contract. They released their first cover album, "BLUESIFIED," which featured funk arrangements of popular songs. It quickly became a hot topic, leading to appearances on TV programs and gradually gaining popularity. In 2012, they released their second album, "GOTTA EARN IT," which featured original songs. In 2014, they released their third album, "CRYIN' MERCY," which further refined their original compositions. The album received a lot of airplay in the media and became a hit. They were nominated for the WAMI Awards and the Blues Blast Awards in 2014. In 2015, they won the Self-Produced Award at the International Blues Challenge. Then, in 2017, they signed with the long-established blues label Blind Pig and released "Charmed & Dangerous."
