About the Artist: Jason Ricci is from Portland, Maine. In 1995, at the age of 20, he moved to Memphis and won a contest. He also performed at the King Biscuit Blues Festival. That same year, he released his debut album, 'Jason Ricci'. He continued to release albums, including 'Down At The Juke' in 1997 and 'Feel Good Funk' in 2001. After performing with bands such as Junior & David Kimbrough, he moved to the West Coast. He formed Jason Rich & The Bad Kind, and their 2006 album "Blood on the Road" sold out 12,000 copies online and at live venues. He then signed with Delta Groove and released "Rocket Number 9" in 2007 and "Done with the Devil" in 2009, winning a Blues Music Award the following year. In 2014, he made a guest appearance on Johnny Winter's album "Step Back." In 2015, he performed at Paul Butterfield's Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which garnered attention. In 2017, he released "Approve by Snakes" under the name Jason Rich & The Bad Kind.
