About the Artist: Born in Chicago in 1956. He picked up the harmonica at the age of 12. From his teens, he honed his skills by directly observing real bluesmen such as Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. From the end of the 70s, he worked professionally, joining bands with Tail Drugger, Louis Myers, and Eddie Taylor. In 1981, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and joined Louisiana Red's band for about a year. When Red moved to Europe, he joined Big Pete Pierson's band. There, he deepened his friendships with many musicians, and in 1991, he opened his own club, "Rhythm Room," in Phoenix, Arizona. Based there, he invited many renowned musicians, performing and recording with Bo Diddley, Little Milton, Jimmie Rodgers, Pinetop Perkins, and others. In 1999, he released his first album of these sessions, "All-Star Blues Sessions," through Hi-Tone Records. From 2005 onwards, he also toured Europe, solidifying his popularity. He has also won numerous awards, including the Blues Music Awards and the Grammys.
