About the Artist: Ben Sidlan is a jazz pianist and singer. He is also a multi-talented individual, working as an author, television presenter, and radio DJ. Born in Chicago in 1943, he grew up listening to his father's jazz record collection. He began playing piano at age 7 and formed a jazz trio, performing in clubs during high school. He attended the University of Wisconsin, where he formed "The Ardells" with Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs, whom he met there. He later joined the Steve Miller Band. In 1971, he released his solo album "Feel Your Groove" on Capitol Records, featuring Boz Scaggs, Blue Mitchell, and Charlie Watts. Since then, he has moved between labels such as Blue Thumb and Arista, consistently releasing over 30 albums to date. In 1990, he founded the jazz label "Go Jazz," and has produced numerous classic albums, including Georgie Fame's "Cool Cat Blues." He has also worked with artists such as Clementine and Diana Ross, establishing himself as a producer. In 2003, he launched a new label, "Nardis Music."
