About the Artist: Born in St. Louis in 1970. In 1989, he released his first self-produced album, "Blue Room," which became a sensation, but he succumbed to alcohol and drugs. After a hiatus of several years, he made a comeback in 2000 with "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED." He successfully toured 250 shows a year, and his growth as a person and his talent were recognized, leading to the release of "Today" in 2008 and "Pearl River" in 2009 from Delta Groove. His duet with Cyril Neville won Song of the Year at the Blues Music Awards. In 2011, he released "Greyhound" and has also worked as a producer for various artists. In 2012, he formed the supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood with Cyril Neville and Devon Allman, releasing three albums, including live recordings. In 2013, he released "Gone to Texas." Then, in 2015, he left Royal Southern Brotherhood to focus more on his solo career and released "Keep Coming Back." His latest album, "Make Blues Not War," was nominated for a BMA Award in 2018.
