Includes recording comments from each guest. About the Artist Mike Burnett is a fiddler from Nashville with a brilliant career. At the age of 14, he recorded his first CD, "Lost Indian," featuring traditional fiddle tunes. Later, Bobby Hicks introduced him to Jesse McReynolds, and he joined McReynolds' band, the Virginia Boys, touring with them and other venues such as the Grand Ole Opry, where he was greatly influenced. At the age of 15, he left Nashville and moved to Massachusetts, where he performed with artists such as Gordon Stone, Tony Trischka, and B?la Fleck. In 2007, he joined Greg List's Deadly Gentlemen, participating in world tours and album production for seven years. At Berklee College of Music, he met Sam Grisman, which led to him joining his father's David Grisman Sextet in 2009. In 2014, he released his solo album "One Song Romance" on Compass Records. The album, featuring renowned guest artists such as Chris Eldridge, Sarah Jarroz, and Eefa O'Donovan, received critical acclaim. In recent years, he has been based in Nashville, performing as a member of bands for Brian Sutton and Ricky Scaggs.
