About the Artist Jane Lee Hooker is a five-member all-female blues rock band formed in NY in 2013. The members are Dana "Danger" Athens (vocals), Tracy Hightop & Tina "T-Bone" Gorin (guitar), Hale Mary Z (bass), and Melissa "Cool Whip" Houston (drums). Each member is a talented musician who has played in rock bands across the United States, such as Nashville Pussy and Bad Wizard, and has experience performing with Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Amidst this, guitarists Hightop and T-Bone took the lead, holding auditions in New York and forming a new blues band in 2013. Since then, they have toured renowned clubs across the US, including B.B. King Club and Irving Plaza in New York, as well as Antons and El Cid, building their career by performing with artists like Bernard Fowler, Southside Johnny, and Davey Knowles. In 2014, they won Best Artist from the music magazine 'The Deli'. Then, in 2015, they signed with Germany's RUF Records, and in 2016, they made their world debut with 'No B!'.
