About the Artist: Galia Bauthier is a young blues guitarist and singer-songwriter from Brussels, Belgium. She began her career as a street musician, and around 2013 formed the blues band Galia & The Naphthalenes, performing in clubs. Afterward, she formed Galia & Voodoo Casino, gaining attention for their self-proclaimed "Voodoo Billy" sound, a mix of R&B and rockabilly. In parallel, she traveled to the United States almost every year, visiting Louisiana, Mississippi, Illinois, Tennessee, and other regions, deepening her connections with local musicians. In 2014, she recorded with Tom Mulroney and others. In 2015, her song "Let The Demons Out," which is also the title track of this album, was sung by Lenny Smith of St. Louis and included on the compilation album "St. Louis Blues Society 2015." Then, in 2016, she met New Orleans legend harpist Johnny Mastro and began working with his band, The Mama's Boys. After repeatedly creating songs in the studio, she finally made her world debut with this album on RUF Records.
