About the Artist: This album was recorded in LA, and despite being an independent production, it features an impressive lineup of musicians, including Chester Thompson, known for his work with Frank Zappa, Weather Report, and Genesis; the Fowler Brothers, also known for their work with Frank Zappa and Air Pocket; and Mike O'Neill, a long-time support guitarist for George Benson's backing band. This release includes "BLOW MY BLUES AWAY," a bouncy and refreshing Hawaiian AOR classic featuring a solid rhythm section and prominent horns; "STANDING IN THE RAIN," a poignant Hawaiian loco AOR track; and "SHE GETS DOWN ON ME," a reggae-influenced, catchy melody.
