In addition to instruments such as cello, violin, and flute, this album features Peter Broderick, Hachisnot, David Allred, and the chorus group Shards, who also participated in Nils Frahm's new work. The album is created from contrasting images and approaches, such as sounds that express animals and nature versus human sounds, and improvisational pieces versus meticulously composed pieces. The lead single, "It's Magical," is a song that imagines "a man who attached artificial wings to his arms to fly like a bird before the invention of the airplane." It has a somewhat ephemeral and delicate image, but it is full of big dreams and hope. The Japanese distribution version includes a download code for the bonus track "Candle". About the Artist A vibraphonist and composer based in Berlin, Germany. Under the name el fog, he attempts to fuse electronics and acoustic sounds with a more experimental approach. In 2010, he released a collaboration album with Jan Jelinek. In 2012, he released "Stories," his first album under his real name that explored the possibilities of the vibraphone, on Flau, and it received high praise from Ele-King/The FADER and others. Then, in 2015, he released his second album "Apologues" on Erased Tapes, which has produced artists such as Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds.
