Content Introduction Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, who dominated the experimental scene in 2016, presents her latest work! Her talent as a producer, honed through collaborations with Mark Pritchard and tours with Animal Collective, blossoms in this kaleidoscopic sound! Raised in the lush natural environment of Orcas Island in northwestern Washington, USA, and having studied at Berklee College of Music, her hidden talent gradually awakened through collaborations with numerous artists. After her debut in 2015 with the simple synth sound of "Euclid," she began to showcase her talent as a sound producer with "Years," released a year later. She then collaborated with Suzanne Ciani, a pioneer of female synth artists, on "Sanaji," a project that garnered widespread acclaim from Pitchfork and was selected as one of the best albums of the year. This latest work, "The Kid," showcases her continued growth, retaining her sophisticated psychedelic synth sound while featuring her own vocals on tribal tracks in a pop arrangement. A kaleidoscopic sound with creative arrangements that transcends the boundaries of synthesizers, creating a sonic image of "listening to two conversations at once." About the Artist: An artist from Orcas Island in northwestern Washington, USA. He studied composition and sound engineering at Berklee College of Music, and a chance encounter with a Buchla 100 synthesizer owned by a neighbor led him in his current musical direction. In 2015, he released his debut album "Euclid" on Western Vinyl. It received praise from various magazines and attracted attention, and he worked on the music and video arrangements for Panda Bear's PV "Boys Latin" and Reggie Watts. Then, in April 2016, he released his new album "Years." He toured with Animal Collective and Battles, released a remix series with Mark Pritchard, and collaborated with Suzanne Ciani. He made a big leap forward, being selected as Best New Music by Pitchfork and as one of the best experimental albums of 2016 by NPR, SPIN, Rolling Stone, and other magazines. In 2017, they released their 3rd album, "The Kid".
