Content Introduction Formed in 1981 by Kelly David-Smith (Drums) and Jason Newsted (Bass), among others. Initially performing under the name PARADOX, the band underwent several name changes and member shifts before settling on FLOTSAM AND JETSAM in 1984. They debuted in 1986 with their first album, 'Doomsday for the Deceiver'. Although they continued to see member changes, they came to Japan in September 2004 for "THRASH DOMINATION 04," performing alongside OVERKILL and DEATH ANGEL. Over their approximately 40-year career, they have toured the world and performed at renowned festivals such as Wacken, Graspop, Bloodstock, Alcatraz, and Rock Hard. They are legends and pioneers in the thrash metal scene. The current members consist of Eric A.K. Nutson (Vocals), Michael Gilbert (Guitar), Steve Conley (Guitar), William Bodley (Bass), and Ken Mary (Drums), all of whom have been with the band since its debut. Regarding this latest album, "Rats In The Temple," Eric commented, "It's the best work of our career and a monster."
