DevilDriver is an American heavy metal band formed in 2002 by vocalist Dez Fafara.
Fafara had previously been active in the nu-metal band Coal Chamber but launched DevilDriver with the aim of creating a heavier, more aggressive sound.
Their 11th studio album, *Strike and Kill*, kicks off with the explosive impact of heavy, groove-laden sound right from the opening track. Throughout their career, DevilDriver has consistently evolved while remaining anchored in a heavy, groove-oriented sound, securing a significant position in the modern heavy metal scene since the 2000s.
