Content Introduction A powerful power metal band has debuted from Brazil, one of the holy lands of metal. Their name is AURO CONTROL. Auro is a Latin word meaning "gold," and the name was chosen because it sounds similar to "Out Of Control." As the band name suggests, they are a band with a golden brilliance and uncontrollable melodies, speed, and aggression, and their debut album shows the world their extraordinary potential. The central figure of this band is vocalist Lucas de Ouro, who openly acknowledges the influence of former members of fellow Brazilian band ANGRA, such as Andre Matos and Edu Falaschi, as well as Jeff Scott Soto and Jeff Tate. The other members are Lucas Burnery (G), who serves as the band's main composer, Thiago Baumgarten (B), who also plays in HIBRIA, Diego Peiris (G), and David Britt (Ds). What's even more noteworthy is the impressive lineup of guest musicians who contribute to the album's high quality. These include "Not Alone," a collaboration with Jeff Scott Soto, whom Lucas de Ouro greatly admires, and "The Harp," featuring Felipe Andreoli of current Angra. "Rise Of The Phoenix" features former Angra drummer Achilles Priester. Fabio Laguna, who plays keyboards on all tracks, and many other stars from the Brazilian metal scene participate in the album.
