Content Introduction: This is the latest studio album from PRAYING MANTIS, one of the veteran bands representing the NWOBHM movement, which has enjoyed immense popularity in Japan since the massive success of their debut album, "Time Tells No Lies." The band is known for its tumultuous history since its debut in 1981. Despite the success of their debut album in Japan, they faced business troubles in their home country of the UK, and ceased activities after releasing only that one album and a few singles. After some time, they reunited in 1990, coinciding with their appearance at the NWOBHM 10th Anniversary Concert in Japan, and released their second album, "Predator in Disguise." While the band's members other than the central Troy brothers were quite fluid, there were periods when former IRON MAIDEN members Dennis Stratton, Paul Di'Anno, Clive Burr, and MSG's Gary Barden were members. Since their reunion, they have steadily released albums and toured, celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2021 and releasing the album "Katharsis" the following year. Their catchy and melodic works, centered on their unchanging chorus work and twin lead guitar harmonies, delighted fans.
