Content Introduction Centered around Christopher McIntosh (Gt), Benjamin Wilson (Gt), and Lee Honor (Ba), James Lazenby (Dr) and Matthew Flood (Vo) joined to form The Captives. They released their self-titled EP, including their debut single "Ghost Like You," in April 2019. Afterwards, they actively toured, opening for bands such as Bad Omens from Los Angeles, USA, and Crystal Lake, who have gained great popularity in Japan, at their German shows. Following the tour, due to Lee Honor's (Ba) departure for personal reasons, Christopher switched to (Ba), and Craig Robinson (Gt) joined the band. Shortly after, as the band's popularity rose, they secured a contract with SharpTone Records, but as a result of a legal dispute with a band of the same name in Australia, they changed their name to The Caskets. The band, having started on a new label, released "Lost Souls" (2021) with production by Dan Weller, who has previously worked with Enter Shikari and Berry Tomorrow. The opening track, "The Only Ones," with its beautiful melody and emotional development, and "Glass Heart," which opens with an excellent synth intro and makes you want to sing along, have become hit songs for the band, currently exceeding 1 million views on YouTube, and the band has grown to be popular not only in their home country of the UK but also internationally. The lead single released for this album, "Guiding Light," also produced by Dan Weller, is a song that combines an even more melancholic, heart-wrenching melody with emotional depth.
