Introduction: Following the critical acclaim of their previous album "Epitaph" by progressive metal fans and specialist magazines alike, the multinational progressive metal band PYRAMAZE has completed their seventh album, "Bloodlines." The band's history dates back to 2002. At the call of guitarist Michael Kemaier, Morten Gede S?rensen (Ds / Wuthering Heights), Niels Qvist (B), Jonah Weingarten (Keys), and Lance King (Vo / ex-Balance of Power) came together, and they debuted in 2004 with the album "Melancholy Beast." They attracted attention as a promising new star in the progressive metal world. After that, with some member changes in between, they consistently released works such as "Legend of the Bone Carver" (2006) and "Immortal" (2008). Their career had been going smoothly until, in 2011, founding members Michael and Neils suddenly left the band. After consideration, the remaining members decided to continue the band. After a hiatus of several years, they welcomed Jacob Hansen, who is renowned not only as a musician but also as an engineer/producer, as a new member. This resulted in a dramatic improvement in the band's songwriting and production, and the effects can be seen in their works since the album "Disciples of the Sun" (2015), such as "Contingent" (2017) and "Epitaph" (2020). Two songs, "Broken Arrow" and "Fortress," have already been released as singles from the new album. Both are technically impressive yet feature memorable, melodic, and catchy choruses, making them dramatic tracks that suggest this album will be just as high-quality as their previous work.
