While they are a veteran band celebrating their 40th anniversary, the style they showcased on 'Ritual' demonstrated to fans that they are not simply clinging to a nostalgic, old-fashioned style. Currently, Rob Weir (G) is the only original member remaining, but while maintaining their traditional British rock sound with its strong melodic core, their music becomes increasingly heavier and sharper with each album, proving that they continue to grow as a band at the forefront of the music scene. Following the release of "Ritual," the band released the EP "A New Heartbeat" (not released in Japan) in 2022, which included new songs and re-recorded tracks. This EP also featured a sound that was an extension of "Ritual," indicating the direction they would take in the future and raising expectations for their next new release.
