This self-titled debut album is a hard rock work that showcases a new direction for him, born from his boundless creativity. Initially, finding someone with the talent to bring the ideas of this new band to life was extremely difficult, especially in selecting a vocalist. After compiling a list of 30-40 candidates and repeatedly contacting each of them, and going through many twists and turns, they finally found the perfect frontman: Steve Overland. The combination of Jim and Steve showed astonishing chemistry, creating a level of synergy that belied their first meeting. You can enjoy a robust and solid rock sound, different from both FATES WARNING and FM. Furthermore, the rhythm section supporting this work features veteran musicians that should not be overlooked. The drums are fully handled by none other than Simon Phillips, a leading figure in the rock world. His groove, dynamism, stability, and flawless playing make a huge contribution to this top-notch rock work, as is immediately apparent upon listening. On bass is Joey Vera, Jim's bandmate from Fates Warning. As someone who knows Jim well, he not only has a great sense of unity with Jim, but also works exceptionally well with Simon.
